Steel wire rope Slings with soft eyes or thimbles is maybe the most applied type of Slings on light-lifting fields, soft eyes or thimbles ended.
Slings have a wide range of use thanks to their manageability and easy usage.
They can be bright or galvanized with fiber core or IWRC.
The swaging process is cold-made with aluminum sleeves. The WLL indicated on ours technical sheets are in compliance with EN 13414-1-2 standards. At the moment we’re able to swage steel wire ropes up to 104 mm. of diameter.
SIRTEF can also manufacture Hand spliced Slings with both inner or outer ends, this type calls for the making of the Soft eyes spliced without any kind of sleeve swaging.
