Wire Rope for Special Application uses

Our Company, specialized and experienced in transforming steel wire ropes can very naturally plan and then realize all steps for working them and reaching all types of final steel wire rope products. Thanks to the relevant and vast knowledge got in the field during several years and thanks to its always constant technical development promoted, SIRTEF has always been very well introduced in the market of Lifting field since 1976. By performing good technical issues and supplying very well-performing equipment to most relevant Companies in Italy and abroad and worldwide, SIRTEF can easily propose itself nowadays for any kind of lifting applications as the Company that can make also guy ropes with any kind of terminals.

SIRTEF can offer its experienced and qualified Technical Team for

helping and supporting Customers and End-users wherever and whenever they need, and can offer high-quality products by guaranteeing to be able to:

• draw, plan and manufacture specially-designed and/or customized sockets
• test and certify products according to all national and international standards
• plan and design Load Cells used in equipment planned for fixing guy ropes
• test and certify product materials and compounds thanks to the experience of its qualified people that can operate and examine materials by using technically-advanced machines these ones being at their disposal for making non-destructive tests (MT LP)
• make tests at its LAB, witnessed and certified by recognized Third Parties (Lloyd's, RINA, GL, DNV etc…).
  

SIRTEF, after getting ISO 9001 Certification, has also got some other qualifications for making special works such as the application of spelter sockets by melting zinc process or by cold wirelock and pressing aluminium clamps.

SIRTEF mission is to always manufacture products in accordance to international standards, works being always done by qualified and experienced people using up-to-dated and modern machines, among them our new 2000 T Pressing-Machine. The new machine is enabling Sirtef operators to make spliced terminations on wire ropes up to 103 mm diameter. The new products we, at SIRTEF’s, can manufacture now with the new pressing machine are going to complete some other special issues already performed for years as proof-load tests even witnessed by the main Registers at our certified 150 T 40 m-long bench.
